Well, it's Monday again - the proclaimed weekly fishing day. Headed to the new Honey Hole with the Skeeter in tow. The weather was ok but VERY hot and humid (the kind of weather I don't belong out in). For me, it was one of them days. And for Bob - he was the only reason there wasn't a
in the boat today (I even got him to smile today). There weren't hardly any fishermen out today and so I was thinking thats ok - more fish for us.
Here are some

A Fluke Bass

Thats it for the day - some short strikes, some misses, but for the most part a slow, slow day. But that doesn't mean we didn't have some laughs, and some issues. Like needing to remind Bob
about latching the cooler (only a 100 times) - and why do we do this - so the lid doesn't come flying off while making a run across the lake and smacking the Fishy God Mother in the face giving her a black eye. Then there was the missing bag of Yum Wooly craws - also gone during a run across the lake. And to top it off, we are now missing the lock for the hitch. Seems I bought a bad one and it malfunctioned and it is somewhere on the highway between the launch and home.
Oh well, at least there were fish in the boat, the boat is still running like a charm, and I have another memory to add to the book of fishing with a good friend. Thanks Bob
