I just got into the sport of ice fishing last year and I'm looking to fish for brown trout etc. in Racine Harbor or Kenosha harbor.Does anybody know of any ways to catch fish at that time? Any help is greatly appreciated. ALL SNAGGERS OF FISH OTHER THAN ASIAN CARP AND BIGHEAD CARP CAN GO TO HELL!

I don't do the ICE thing dude

But I DO have some maps of those areas...and after going through 5 years of older early '90's In-Fisherman....I'm pretty sure there's a couple of good articles in them about it. If this stuff would help ya....shoot me a PM with you're email addy

Well, if there's some articles in older In Fishermaqn Magazines, I just have to drop by my father's house where he has hundreds of them and try that. Thanks for telling me about that.

You're welcome. Some articles in those older issue's articles were 10 pages long....truly informative stuff. In my humble estimation...better than any book you can buy....and I have probably 50 or so different books that I've bought and read over the last 30 years.

I'm still crippled up with my foot...can't walk...so I'll page through them and see if I can give you some specific "Book" (issue) #'s for anything you might like to check out.

Check ESPECIALLY the winter issues...as they had MUCHO ice fishing articles in them

I saw a program with Eril Galespie(sp) in the Kenosha harbor last season and WHAT A DAY. They must have caught 10 trout... both on tip-ups and jigging. I am interested in trying that this year also. B.H.
