A point I would like to make is that most sites require a minmum post count before you can make your own thread or subject, I think this would clear up a lot of the clutter advertisers come in and do that are not active with the site even if it were just 20 replies they had to make before they could start their own thread.

I think there's things we could do to limit access/funtionality non-members. The tough thing though is I've seen club members do this kind of advertising on the forums too. We had a blow-up over at the Handyman club a few weeks back when a member promoted a product in a bunch of threads and it rubbed the other members the wrong way.  I don't think we'll ever be able to do away with it 100%, but I'll stick it on the list.

Thanks E appreciate all your doing.

You can't even post a simple IMG tag :

[IMG]http://i43.tinypic.com/24o96a1.jpg[/IMG]

or  HTML :

<a href="http://tinypic.com" target="_blank"><img src="http://i43.tinypic.com/24o96a1.jpg" border="0" alt="Image and video hosting by TinyPic"></a>

I`ve been wondering about that myself HB. It just don`t make alot of sense to me that I can use simple HTML code in my siggy yet can`t within my post. It would be much, much easier if we could.

Hillbillyangler,.. actually it's about as simple as it can get.

Just "copy" and "paste" the picture. Go to the picture's hosting site IE: photobucket, etc. right-click - copy,... take it to your message, right-click,.. and paste it. :smiley_doh: :smiley_doh:

No [img] tags,.. nadda' !! It's that simple, works with gif's, etc. also,...  just as long as they are from a website and not just on your computer. :smiley_yahoo:

Most of us done figured out how to post pics here, it`s just a matter of doing it easier, especially if you are putting more than one or two pics in your post.

I'd STILL like to hear SOME type of LOGICAL explanation as to WHY or HOW my addy / personal info was incorrect....instead of a lame "we're sorry".

And another note on this....ya'all keep hearing about various folks going through various things with the Club. As far as I'm concerned...unless the Club comes out PUBLICALLY and makes a statement fairly soon...sooner or later....they're going to end up with Credibility issues.

There's something else going on there at the Club too. Before I left California back in September I updated My Account with my new address here in Wisconsin...and I have been receiving the mags.

Just now I checked my account....and someone had changed my address and phone #

Don't know how much easier it can get than  "Copy and Paste",... open up a couple new tabs in your browser with your pics and have at it. <img

Don`t know why one would want to do that method when I can open ONE tab on any other site and have instant access to 20 IMG codes in seconds. Them same 20 IMG codes I could post within a minute where as it would likely take me twenty minutes plus to open each pic and copy and paste it as we have to now. Unless of course you now a faster way????????

You guys are way out of my league...Mike, I don't understand or even remember seeing this type of arraingement.  I guess I don't see the urgency for this since there are three different ways to post your pics (that I am aware of).  The one that takes the most effort is uploading to a host site for me.  But at the same time I am all infavor of anything that is deemed as an improvement.

As long as it works for you RT that's all that counts.

I would NOT do it that way for two reasons:

1. I think you way is a LOT of work...........LOL

2. Using the NAFC upload they (NAFC) would "own" my pictures , and that was one of the conditions of this new site that took so long for me to come back !!!!!

Gee Bob,.. sorry I mis-read his post don't need to get your panties in a bunch,..

and as far as not caring about what goes on over at the NAHC it would be wise to care,...  that site is where the thread that I started to the club management got noticed by the CEO of all of the club groups, along with Bill Miller and things finally started turning around.

If I recall it was on or about the 18th of February the speed increased dramaticly with other improvements shortly following. So don't be so quick to disregard your sister club and it's members,... we are the ones who saw to it the repairs got underway in the first place!
