Well, we are in the final phase of getting our house now. Yay! <!--graemlin::D-->

My husband is out of the hospital. He hurt his back on June 28 at half past midnight and we took him to the hospital. When we told the nurse the we needed a stretcher (he was laying flat on a board) and he had a back injury, they sent someone out with a wheelchair. <!--graemlin::o--> She forced him to sit up and get in the chair. <!--graemlin::mad:--> Three hours later we left for home. Four days later, he went back in because he couldn't feel his legs. More tests later, they figured he has a bruise along his spine in his lower back. They made him stay until the the 6th. We watched the fireworks from the hospital instead of "ground zero" where we usually watch them. I hate EIRMC. <!--graemlin::mad:--> It's not only slow to take care of patients but extremely expensive... $3,000 a day to stay there. The care is not the best either. My husband got payment assistance from the city which covers 49% of it and the hospital has to clear the rest. Now, Craig just has to pay back the city.
He is getting better now that they gave him stuff to reduce the swelling and pain around the lower spine.

Oh, and our cats are still being psychotic as usual. Gotta love them. <!--graemlin::D-->
