Ever thought about this when you go fishing with your better half, or girl/boy friend? Does it really require the vigors of competition for either of you to enjoy yourself? Uncommon as it may seem, some say yes! They allow that competitive edge to spill over from "who's the bread winner" in the family to "who's the better fisher-person.
Relationships are just like any other human trait, they come in all sizes and situations. Competitive personalities tend to continue on way after it is required, or necessary, and who knows, maybe competitive couples need this type of relationship to stay on top of their game. My thoughts on this is, loosen up, who cares if she out fishes you, or he out fishes her.
I really enjoy fishing with my wife, but if our fishing time together developed into a competition of who can out-fish the other, I know for a fact that wouldn't work, besides, I know for a fact, she could never out-fish me anyway.....hehehe
