I'm on the fence on that, kind of leaning towards the old one. It sure would have been nice to have gotten some warning this was going to happen.

    Hi All,
Just want to give a bit of an explanation on the changeover. We were building out this new forum with new functionality, etc, and as we got really close to the end, we started to have site issues on Sunday night and Monday morning at the server level on the actual site, we started spinning some time to fix those issues, and ultimately just made the decision to cut over now to the new forums. We apologize for the lack of a notice because of that, but realized it made little sense to spend time working on a forum that was going away in a week or so, and was probably better to just rip the band aid off and get to work on this new forum.

I think you guys will like this new forum, it has a number of new features, like posting pictures in line, custom sort options that you can choose, etc. We also have a new community manager to help answer questions, hear suggestions, and talk fishing. Because of the quick turnover, we aren't done, and will be listening to your feedback as to how we can make this forum better.

    Thanks all!

I've spent the last three hours checking out the new web site   and I like what I see so far...  the club has added alot of the features we asked for .... like being able to goto the most current post via the little arrow next to the post and or setting it as a preference once we open the post   .... the link to my topics....the unread topic ...and  viewing the most active topics. on the left top of the page.... saves alot of time scrolling up and down the forum   the new smilles LOL the red/green lite next to our names letting member know who online   and most of all the clubs involvement asking for our input as they twike the pages ...    thanks

I'll look around a bit before I make any type comment either for or against! More than likely would not make a difference since the club has made the decision for it's members already.

Any thing has to be better than the old site.....IMHO...............one time it would work OK the next time it was ssooooooo slow I have no idea how folks with dial-up could put up with it and we lost many, many, many good peole with good ideas because of it. I was some what plain some thing was coming with the way the old site ran the past few weekends but no big suprise that they didn't tell us never did in the past and the lame explaination on here is very funny. Putting that aside two thumbs up so far on the new site if nothing else gets fixed and every thing works as it is now it 5 time better that the old one but has a ways to go to get to the one before that or the one before that................LOL

Well, it sure would have been nice to get an email on this. I spent 4 times trying to use my old log on then used the member number. I like the idea I could finally figure out how to get a pic on the profile, never could get it done before. But, I can't find the things I used to look at. I guess they both have their good and bad.

I am still required to "log in" each & every time I want to get in here.  Why is that??? Is anyone else having this problem??

WILL THIS ENABLE  YOU TO FINELY  INCORPORATE  A CHAT ROOM ?
remember you may have trouble logging in as they update.   ALSO remember we did ask for  certain features that the other site lacked or could not be incorporated.

I like the old view the most.My theory of it is,the old view looked better, but it would have been nicer if they could have added them same features to that old view.I like the new features, but the old view,if you ask me.The new view will take getting used to.

Great thought rodtosser. As much as I log into this a live chat room would be exciting and if this is the pre-cursor to that I can live with the change then. I'm sure they'll adjust as they get everyones feed back and we'll end up with a terrific site when it's all done. Hang in there everybody and enjoy the ride as I always say. Happy fishing to you tosser and hope your week end and memorial day is a safe one to all in your family.
