Jig the deep water mud flats and any structure or humps in deep water.. the bigger fish will hang tight to botton during the day because of the clear water .

early morming , late evening , low light condition , or walleye chop waves  fish weed edges swimming jigs or pulling cranks

have a great season on the water..

when my dad and his brothers use to go to canada fishing they would always get alot of eye's in the 14 to 18" range until us kids started going with them and trolling minnow shaped plugs-- it seemed we always got the bigger eye's.

but like rod tender said: the mud flats are a good bet, because the big eye's are there feeding on wigglers and the smaller fish that is there feeding on the wigglers too. if there be any type of structural break-- hump being the best-- the better.

    good luck and happy fishin"
