    what kind of fish do want to catch.we get nice crappies aroud the big island,eyes along the river channel.have done good on pike trolling around the island in spring.it is a good lake.if you donthave a boat,try the fishing spot on the west side,1st drive from the freeway. we did well ther for crappies,early am and evenings. slip bobbers and minnows.good luck and stay safe.

    Thank You! I don't have a boat, but I've done my research and have found out that there is a boat rental place at the northern edge of the lake.
