    I'm looking for a 70's Ultra Lite SS Daiwa Combo 5'6" rod. The rod has a Pistol grip handle, and the reel is attached by a screw on the top of the rod.  I like to buy this rod & reel combo,  can't spend a high price for it but I can pay a little price. Just email me at dte1022@usa.com  .

    Thanks everyone for( NONE) of your great help. I have found this rod & reel on my own and got it. If someone out there in the club is looking fo something, I'll look for you even though no one helped me!

    Dennis this is the first I've seen this post also, why the attitude???? would have helped if had seen post and knew anything about the combo.

    I've got a 70's Mini Cast w/case, but I've never seen one like you were looking for. Hard to be of help on something I've never seen. Sorry

    It's not that people didn't try to look, but this particular outfit is very hard to find.  
    In 28 yrs of rod and reel repair, I have only seen 5 of these outfits,  was able to buy one and re-sell it for a profit in my flea market days.
    I think I may have the workable [or a parts reel] reel socked away deep in a box somewhere, but can't find it. The rod and reel handle connect screw I don't have. Sorry.
