    How do you hook your live crawdads and keep them on the hook

    when i fish with crawdads, i always use dead ones...i peel the head and thread the hook starting where the head use to be and let the tail of the crawdad form the hook...works well...

    It's been a while, but I hook'm up around mid section of the tail.  Gotta be able to pull'm off when they pinch hold onto something.

    I always use live crawdads. I start @ the end of the tail and come out close to the end of its head. Works really well. Try some perch they have really been working for me.
