Hey fishing buddies, I will be traveling to the Fairmount area, this week on business and wanted to know where to fish in that area, Need a place on the river or shoreline, wont have a boat with me at this time, just my tackle.  Love to find a cabin on water somewhere to rent if their is such a thing. . So if you live in that area and fish, any help you can give me with this ill be really thankful. well brother I hope you enjoy your trip to West Virginia, first off click here to check out the nice site that Marion County West Virginia has put together for visitors. I'm not to far from Fairmont ( about 20 min give or take ) if your close to the down town area there's plenty of bank access there. The Public boat launch under the ole Palatine bridge would be a sure fire bet to wet a line. Course you have so many different places in this are to fish, you have the tygart Vally River, the West Fork, The Mon River and thats just the rivers. Tygart lake isnt to far from you at this point either. here's some info for ya:
click here heck If I knew I could get the time off I'd meet up with ya and show ya some local spots.
anyhoo Hope ya have a great time....
