Regarding your catfish question, the list is too long to post here, and the best baits vary with the type of catfish you are trying to catch. I assume you are referring to channel catfish, so start with: nightcrawlers, crayfish, cutbait (chunks of sucker, shad, bluegills etc.), liver (chicken or beef), congealed blood bait.
