Until a few months ago, i had the same problem. I'm 13, and i used to try artificials but could never get anything. I finally started to get better at it. Try a small spinnerbait and put a piece of worm on the hook. This will help you get used to artificials FAST! If you have any more questions, please reply.
No matter what you say or do, it won't stop me from going fishing!
