Hi My name is Allen Knapp, I've been fishing the east coast and north to canada for over 40 years. We've been walleye fishing southeastern ontario for walleye and were looking for another hot lake to fish in this region. We are rounding up "Team Knapp" and friends to try fishing Crotch Lake Just North of the Kingston area about 50 miles. Has anyone fished Crotch Lake for walleyes and do you think its worth giving a try. We usually do very well with good info even on a new lake. I hope someone can help me.

You wan to go deep in the Crotch. Doesn't hurt to scratch the bottom while there. Don't set the hooks fiercely. You don't want to damage the structure of the Crotch. Cover the area thoroughly, and it doesn't hurt to use an attractant. Stink bait is not the way to go with the Crotch, and heaven forbid if their is a mayfly hatch in the Crotch.
