keeping a log is key, and all those baits are good, to the fella with the wopper on a 202, nice.... chichen liver set out in the sun for an hour and then dipped in either a touch of vinilla or just allowed to rippen to a green state is awesome....bacon is good as well likes to stay on the hook through multiple bites..... all of which are on a three way,,, i like to use miinows as well on this rig as you can catch anything!!!!! i have a prob. with the lake i have been fishing on for years....seems to be overran with turtles, i have removed and eaten over twenty and therre are still alot...i havenot seen any bigs in awile,,,concerned!!!!

i got my 8.85 lb channel on raw bacon. they seem to like the fatty oils. no weight a large triple hook and good placement.

I prefer hot dogs and other stinky baits. Dough balls also work well.

jburdette1, I believe it's illegal to use gamefish as baitfish in some states.  Might want to do some research on that!

Why did you put the catfish in your bathtub?  Did you release him?

The best thing i have used is chicken liver or cut up shads. i have tried hot dogs but never really had any luck with them.
