MY UGLY STICK IS A7700BIG WATER COMBO , THE FIRE BIRD ,,.. IT IT IS MY MAIN HOG CATS/ HOG BASS /CRAPPIE TROUT / STEEL
?? THEN CATCH THE DARNED VAMENTS EVERY TIME, OR DO NOT FISH FOR EM !!!!HEAD/ CUTTHROAT TROUT/ SALMON BROWS RAINBOIWS.. IF YOU MUST FISH THEN CATCH THEM OK OR WHY FISH AT ALL!!!! |

We fish cause we enjoy it whether we catch anything or not! i used to fish w/flyrod and use spider fly in tiny creek, got enjoyment on rise, but the trout spit it out and if i'd set hook i'd get tangled in maples. It is the thrill of the rise. I got a zebco hawg outfit; pretty good for catfish. Love uglystick too. |

I FISH DUE TO MY HEALT W/ COPD ,EMPHYSEMA A SEVERE ASMMATIC ,,WHOM IS ON 27/7 o2 ...SO WITH A ROUNBD BOAT I FAVE FISH FEVER ALL GOOD HOT, WARM AN NICE SUNN OR CLOUDY WEATHER....SO MY BOAT FITS AROUND MY 135.5 BUTT AN I FISH WETHER DAY NITE ...JUST ALLOW ME TO JUST FISH ANY TIME....FISH ON FISH ,SISF THERE ,,FISH, FISH ,FISH NOW AN WHEN EVETR JUST FISH.... I have used ugly sticks for years and I love them. I havent found any rod thats better and they arent priced to bad either  |

I have used an Ugly Stick for about 15 years. I am on my second. The first got slammed in the trunk. My son also one. I recently bought a Quantum series Platinum "33" combo. The rod was a very nice rod, but after 30 minutes I had to stop and mount the real on my Ugly Stick. Now, all is good.

Hey All,
Been using ugly's since late 70's. Kind of put them aside for a while in favor of Mojo's. I did just order a Pro qualifierCasting reel and a 7' Ugly Stick Lite from Bass Pro Shop. I'm stalking the mail man for them. I've read so much about the PQ reel and I know the Ugly MH 7's gonna be good. I have a few Ugly sticks that are around 10 years old and still catrching fish now and then.Love to let company use them over my expensive ones, because I know they can't break them.
My wife saw the commercial with the dish washer and said, I wonder if that would work? I said don't even think about it, my bass boat is very comfortable to live in!
