I fish lake norman for blues all the time this time of year you will find them in deep creek channels ,look for hard structure ,rocks or even brush piles in stumpy creek,hicks creek,reeds creek and mccrary creek, buy some big gizzard shad at midway . set upwith carolina rigs 2-3 oz weights fish 4-6 foot off the bottom in 40- 50 foot of water moove real slow stay in the channel or just on the edge of the drop off structure is the key. summer time is a whole different story.Hope this helps |
