Can you use a crankbait rod for crankbaits and jigs/worms?

You can use any rod for anything, but crankbait rods are especially designed for their moderate action so for jig/worm fishing maybe if you're cranking/swimming them.

slipperybob hit it on the head. If you want to jig and worm you shold use a jig rod 6 1/2 to 7 ' medium to medium heavy action.
