Tom I don't know about you but if I want to go to a certen website I go stright to it, and no way will I go thru his. Never have never will. There is no way I'm going thru some buttheads website so they can make money off me. Seems there is only one opinion and it's his, nobody else counts. Oh Oh I jsut figured it out, it's because we don't have 45 years in the fishing bussiness. I raise the BS flag there. I've been fishin since I was 9 and I'm 61 now. Do the math that's 52 years on the water so I think I can have an opnion on the subject. How about you. Harry
Hey go directly anywhere you want. I will send the free stuff and the free reels to everybody else. You are so good and so rich you don't need any free baits or reels or any free shipping right?? Go for it. lol |

I used the banjo minnows back in the day, not long after they came out. I caught a few, nothing grand. My problem with the bait was the hooking system. The bait set behind the hook, so even if the fish took in the whole minnow, it could still miss the hook.

Well good for you Steve. I really don't need your free stuff. I'm not rich but I do ok. I have sponsers that supply me all the gear I need. Pflueger supplies me with reels, Zoom supplies my plastics, Ellensburg Chevy buys my fuel, The local Triton Dealer provides me with a new boat every year, and St Croix supplies all my rods. So thank you for the offer but I'll have to pass. Have a nice day and please keep all those petty insults coming, we really enjoy them here on the forum. |

The hooking system is akin to a saltwater live bait rig where they put leader material thru a baitfishes' nose tied to the hook. Been fishing since 8 years old, bend a straight pin, get an 10 foot section of sewing thread and a sturdy stick. Use small bread balls or redworms for bait and then catch a 2 lb. white sucker from a ten foot wide creek. Now that's fishing experience. |

It's sad that some people no longer fish for fun, but for money. |

Sometimes I think people want to encourage others to use Banjo Minnows just to teach them a good lesson. LOL's Just keep using it...You're not doing it right...Keep trying. Did you try to rig it the other way? Have you tried jiggling it? How many hours have you tried it? Days? Months? Years? Keep trying. Somebody once asked me, if it was a good gift to give. I asked them, for a joke or for real? They said for real. I said, ........................., if it were given to me, I wouldn't appreciate it... |

It's sad that some people no longer fish for fun, but for money. Gotta totally agree with that ms101 Steve...all you are doing is basically BEGGING folks to come to your website...to get them to buy stuff through your site...and promoting your guided trips. Please...STOP using individual Topics here in the Forums here for that. It's rude and inconsiderate. AND your ATTITUDE is becoming more rude and inconsiderate. There's a BOATLOAD of us around the country that are TIRED of having advertisments SHOVED in our faces. YOU are being part of it I STAND by what I stated about my personal experiences with this bait / system....because of experience. Steve...do you ever fish drop-shot....or s-l-o-w-l-y fished lures? The Banjo system almost requires this. |

Thers an old saying most baits are designed to catch fisherman not fish (quote from my father) and I've found over the years it's true these things are a gimick. So I stick to baits that are tried and true no gimicks for me MCOPELAND1 |

the chicken heads are goin crazy on this topic, personally all tv lures suck does any one remember the flying lure what a great one that was and anybody who buys this junk deserves to have their money taken by thinking that one lure is gonna catch everything |

TV products are over sensationalized, over hyped, over priced. The Banjo Minnow built on some genuine desires of evey angler, to catch more fish than what they're doing. Add to it, a very flexible rubber lure, a quick change head system, and some weedless hooks, and you've got a product that can basically sell on those points. I watched so many of this infomercial, I don't believe I will ever forget it. I personally don't remember the flying lure, but it built on the concept of the lure planing away from the angle and going under cover. Great, but many types of spoons are able to accomplish to some degree this characterisic as well. Just wasn't something that I bought into. |
