Anyone been to the Metamora Hadley State Park and fished there? We're headin up there for 4th of July weekend and I was gonna ask what I should prepare myself for. I've already heard that there's a lot of kids at the park, so that's warning enough, haha.

The lake is Lake Minnewanna. Anybody with anything? I heard good pike, but crappy for bass. Any tips?

from the sportsman's connection lake guide - the islands serve as great structure for panfish and bass. drag a spinnerbait through the islands for pass. a minnow may work well for both bass and crappies. You may want to try the 20-ft hole straight out from the beach. the lake has an abundance of submerged vegetation. crayfish and bluntnose minnows serve as forage. hope you see this in time
