Hmm...you wouldn't think an old rotten fish skeleton would generate this much response.  

Its got the spikes on the back sorta looks like a sheep head to me but the remaining skin is too white to be a sheap

Mouth is in the wrong position to be a drum, or any of it's kin. Drums have mouths that face the bottom.
Maybe a sheepshead that has bleached out. What kind of teeth did it have? Did they kind of look like
human teeth? If so it was a sheepshead, if not, then some other kind of fish.

That's obviously the carcass of a stripedbass. Looks like it was a pretty good size one.

If you have Hybrid Striped Bass there, it looks very similar to one.
