There used to be a "link" for the Chat Room on this site somewhere, darn if I can find it again! Why hasn't the club re-established the Chat Room which was a great spot for members to get together and just have a regular Bull-session. I know under the old format, many of us "older members" worked awfully hard to have this room placed on the site. Once in a while even Kurt wold pop in for a Bull-Session and discuss some of the "concerns of members", and believe it or not some of these concerns were handled and taken care of this way. It wold be nice if this could be established once again!  I'm pretty sure that if a "decent connection" was placed somewhere on the HOME PAGE it would be utilized once again. |

Don't know that much about computers but "chat room" sounds like a great idea to me. I'm home bound a lot of the time and I have come to really enjoy the forums. It has become one of the highlights of my day, primarily because I like people and people that fish is even more delightful. Hope I am not a nuisance to everybody. Uncle Tom  |

| I built my own lure company as a young man--thus the name UncleTomsJigs. It grew so well I decided to give it up and go fishing with family, friends and especially grand children. I became disabled as a United Methodist Pastor IN 2002 and retired here in Coastal Georgia on a 10 acre lake where I continue to fish despite my disabilities. My wonderful wife and I enjoy fishing together. God has blessed us in so many ways and we pray the same for you. I am excited about having so many new friends all over this great country. |

yer right doc..........i believe that this club was alot stronger back then then it is now.

Hi Mr. Bill & Uncle Tom:
Bill, I could not agree with you more on your response! The club did seem a LOT STRONGER back then. All we have to do is TRY to get those "in the know" to listen and keep pounding on them until we get some type of response from the "powers that be". I am pretty sure the room would be utilized if access to it was made a little easier, like having it's own link on the home page, which does not sound like a major feat to complete to me????    I am surprised that this HAS NOT generated some type of response from them that be.
Tom: From what I have read of your posts, believe me you are not a pain!!!!! Hope you enjoy the club and site. Maybe if we get the chat room back you will enjoy that also. |

longshot from the hunting club forum made a post on that site about needing a chat room and let the powers in charge how easy and how little it cost to run a chat room............it it ain't happened yet either

Hey Kurt!!!!!!!!
I know you are not "in charge" of this area, BUT you helped us out in thenpast when you visited the old vchat room. We are asking for some help and support on returning the chat room to the club site with a link on the Home Page. Hope you read this thread once in a while. |

Good Morning Mr. Bill. I think we are on the same page but I am not too literate when it comes to a computer. What is a pm system? I'm all for the chat room (not real sure what it is either) but then I have to get my seven year grand daughter to put a DVD in the TV so I can watch some of those movies the club has been sending me. Have a great day fishing--the bluegills have really turned it up a notch here at home and many of them are pound or more which is very good for South Georgia. I love those big ole knot headed purple males--caught one yesterday and thought it was a cat to begin with--he had the line singing on my little ultra light. Uncle Tom |

thanks doc...keep our fingers cross....
and tom......a pm means personal message....... it's so we can share some things with each other that we might not want to let anyone else want to know about.
the chat room is a web room that several people can be in at the same time and chat about what ever comes to mind. about what ya did today, or about the kids or grandkids or maybe spread a bit of bs.......heheheheee |
