chat room 1 mebo chat room has a whose in chat room list you can change the guest number to a name but it said nick name not excepted but it did take it the way i typed it any way . perhaps a bit harder for some to use as it lets you modify it .
chat room 2 is straight forward and simple and easy to use but dose not say who is in the chat room if you could add a list that would be a simple straight forward room .
some things I would like in a chat room , a list of whose on.
A way to change text colour and size , perhaps a icon for the user but not that important.
A way to turn sound on and off like when some one enters the room .
More important though would be a tabbed link on the web sight under forums so members would know one exists .

Just what Rod tosser said on the chat room#2 , that would be really Great!!!!!!! we both spoke on this and feel this would be the prefered way to go!!!! Thanks for your response.

for me.....chat rm 1 would not let me in -- i kind of that it wouldn't. because i need upgrades on the puter and i don't have enough memory for that.
chat rm 2......sent me to some out source chat rms. -- i didn't look any further than that because it's time for me to go to work. will check out more later. |

I could not get into either room. I have to log onto the sight with my last name and member number as it does not recognize my password that was changed and when I click on the forgot passwowrd I get the one that I changed to but still it will not recognize it? Also what happened to the listing of members? tried to send a PM to Kurt and it would not go?????     |

If at first you don't get in try updating your java first then if no go try again later or the next day , they may be updating the web site data . especially if you cant log in or the site is slow as snails .
or you get a syntax error .

I checked both of them out, But I would not have without Davesett2000 posting the address in this thread. I don't understand why we should have to go a www. address just to chat. Why can't the club just add a chat button to access a chat room.
Room # 1 I felt was not very user friendly. It took me several minutes to figure it out. Didn't like it
Room # 2 It was easier to get in, but needs a list of who is in the room. If I have to keep putting in an email address to access it I woun't use it. |

I think when testing is done it would nice to have it as a pull-down pick from the forum menu: Forums | Private messages | Chat, or something along that line. Hope it works out. |

Thanks Rod Tosser. I'll give him a try., Problems with logging onto the site usng user name and password., will not recognize the password, even though this is the one I received from the club when I click on "forgot my password". Maybe this will get an answer., but I will not hold my breath on this as I have written the club IT people several times.

have you tried copy and paste as the password & user name may be case sensitive . If you used upper and lower case leters you may have to do the same when signing in .
At least there working on getting chat back and a better pm system .
