Wind also blows plankton around which attracts bait fish which can create another edge ,if it happens to be up against structure so much the better.
Take a kid fishing , If the fish aint biting entertain them. Photobucket

As with the photos of minnows in a bucket, I use a cooler with a modified bilge pump for a water circulator/aerator as my live well. I use live sunfish for flathead catfish bait. The bait fish congregate closely to the pump, which helps calm them down and reduces stress, keeping then lively much longer. It's my live well "edge".
