Heading up tp the French River to do some Pike/Musky/Smallmouth fishing. Picked up some Bucher bucktails. Will post on how well we did. Looking forward to it,leaving this Friday. Anyone been up there ? Went last year & had a GREAT trip. Caught a TON of fish,mostly on buzz baits. Including my 1st. ever Musky. Went 44 inches & prolly 30 plus. I spent a TON of money on all these Musky lures & caught one on a Bass Buzzbait. Go figure. I love it up there. May even do some Walleye fishing while we are there. Haven't tried that yet. By the way,I did release that Musky. Hopefully,I can get another one. Fish on my Brothers,Fish on !!

Had a GREAT trip up to the French River. Although the fishing was slow due to the river being the 2nd lowest it has been in 65 years. Caught a lot of nice pike. Didn't hit that musky I wanted but did miss one that hit right at the boat. Once again on the buzz-bait. The smallmouth fishing was fun but we didn't land that HAWG we were looking for.Caught a nice 3 pounder. Looking forward to going next year. I just love it up there. That area was meant for me.
