I fish commonly in southeast michigan and I've found some pretty good bass lakes, but I'm looking for lakes that have trophy potential.  Do you know of any?

Yes, but I'd have to kill you if I told you. Also, it's a private pond so you'd need permission from a resident. Where-abouts in Southeast MI are you from?

23 and Shelby, there is a privately owned lake that holds 8+ Pound bass. You have to have permission from a home owner to fish the lake though.

To be completely honest with you, Multi, I have no idea what the lake is called. We fish the northeast corner of the lake. It's shore fishing. There is a small beach-like are where it drops abruptly from 1-2 feet to about 10 feet. Live minnows are the only thing that we've had luck with. No fish has ever bitten an artificial from us, and we've tried about everything. Here is a link to the map on google maps. Hope you have some luck.

The bass caught in my avatar picture was caught at Belle Maer Harbor, where my parents dock their boat. She weighed 4 Lbs. 8 Oz. I pull out about 5 or 6 five+ pounders a year there. It's always produced very well for me.
