Hey Kurt. Seems like all you like in completing my deal is the rod you promised and the life membership card--doesn't seem like much to ask for $300.00 + Uncle Tom

| I built my own lure company as a young man--thus the name UncleTomsJigs. It grew so well I decided to give it up and go fishing with family, friends and especially grand children. I became disabled as a United Methodist Pastor IN 2002 and retired here in Coastal Georgia on a 10 acre lake where I continue to fish despite my disabilities. My wonderful wife and I enjoy fishing together. God has blessed us in so many ways and we pray the same for you. I am excited about having so many new friends all over this great country. |

i think almost a month now..........if my memory-- and we know how old that is-- serves me, tom made a post about not getting his stuff once before. ya know the guy that was calling the club a big fraud and claimed he was ready to cancel. then he had to write everyone an apology because it was sitting at his post office........ |

Mr. Bill--Your memory is a lot like mine but I have never called this club a fraud because I respect the members too much! I joined the club in 2009 and became a full paid life member early in 2010. Since I paid in full, thought the powers that be owed me the same benefits that every other life member is afforded. What weight does a life membership card afford if you don't have one. I great deal of benefits from forum and all you guys and gals. Just use to somebody fulfilling what they advertise--had to many of those 72 hours answers from service department--they never come through. Uncle Tom |

UTJ: Please email your Mem. No. to me at editors@fishingclub.com. You may have done this before on another matter, but my search was fruitless. In the email, describe the problem as you have here on the BB. |

Sorry Kurt, had to make a short excursion to hospital. When I got home my lifetime membership card was in the mail. Thanks!!! Since there has been so much said about the "rod" I guess all I can say is at some time and point maybe I'll find it "under the tree" along with a stocking full of items to test. I really love these Forums--its like a whole new family of friends and I've learned such much from everyone on forums. Thanks again for being our representative. You're the Best! Uncle Tom I know this crazy but I sent you a earlier message via "member services" and they said I should have a response within 72 hours! Enjoying the DVD set on 2009 TV season and especially the book on classic lures. |

Kurt, Thanks for all you do for us! I believe with all my heart there is among the members and staff of this club people who can really make something we all hope for and believe in work better than we could ever dream. Every cog and every gear needs a little fish oil to make it run smoothly. Even I have learned if your line keeps breaking it is about time to respool. I can hardly wait for all the exciting things that are about to happen. My Dad always says it is not the measure of a man how many times he gets knocked down but how many times he is able to get up. I'm ready to get up and get on to the next hole (it may have the one we are looking for). Good fishing! Uncle Tom

Just wanted to drop a note and say the NAFC has completed the deal! Like a lot of posts I have complained about the failure of the club to complete the deal. Yesterday, I received my Shimano Rod for being a life member. Thanks, it is the first rod I have ever had with my name on it and it is extra special because my Dad and I share the same name and he is the one who started me fishing and taught me how to be a man along the way. Great Gift! But I would like to add a special thank you to Kurt and to every club member who have taught me a great deal more about fishing and fellowship. I look forward each day to sharing with all of you on Forums. You have become my extended family. Uncle Tom
