I was looking in one of my michigan lake guides and I discovered that the little pond is stocked with trout.  Yesterday, I decided to go check it out.  Didn't catch anything at first, but at about 4:30 I hooked a five pound bass.  I got a few pictures of it, but they were taken by my phone.  There may be a way for me to post them, but as of now I don't know.  Has anyone else fished in Spring Mill Pond?  Any tips?

Were you fishing by shore or by boat? I did find this kind of funny from the website. "Underwater objects include picnic tables, a snowmobile, and a bathroom (toilet, tub and sink)." Hahaha, I might have to check this place out this weekend and tell ya how I do.

From the shore. Those bathrooms and picnic tables are good bass structure!

Went yesterday and caught a 3 pound bass and snagged a really good sized Bluegill by accident. Mike K, been there yet?

I may be going there soon. My digital camera broke so if I get some pictures it will take me a long time to post them (maybe a week or two).

Went fishing there yesterday.  Pretty uneventful day.  Caught a six inch bass and snagged a Green Sunfish.  I still have yet to see a trout!

I was fishing with a deep diving Rapala (natural colored) for bass on the drop near the beach.  For a little while I was using some Berkley trout nuggets off a slip bobber on the other side of the pond.  The days I went the weather was relatively sunny and pretty hot (mid 80's).  The water was so clear that you can see young bass in the shallows ram-feeding shiners!
