Hello everybody,

My first post in a long time.

I am having a problem with my Matrix 47 3D. It is saying that the transducer is not connecting. I have tried pluging it in all which ways and purchased a new transducer w/ cable. Nothing has worked. I was wondering if anyone has any experience with these units.

I am thinking I am just going to have to tell the wife that unfortunately I am going to have to upgrade.

Before you dump the unit, try the "Support" pull down on the Humminbird web site.  Click "Contact Support",  there is a troubleshooting section on the right.  If you can't find what you need, you can email them a question from there.  I've found them to be very helpful in the past.  Good luck.

Thanks I will try that. You never can tell if you are wasting your time with a websites help or not.

I have this same fish finder and it has been a great model. The only problem I have is when I try to turn the light on, it doesnt allow the menu screen  to change.
