well to put it simply they are FREE little picture's that folks use to add personal touches to there profiles on these message forum ( aka BB --> Bulletin Boards ) Some have there area's ( where there from/state ) I have seen/done colorful ones, all sorts of neat things. Of course some folks get out of hand and make them huge and or add a ton of them ( which has known to make some folks mad ). back in the forum hay days ( before social networks, Facebook, myspace,camospace, ETC ) they where everything from text ( words ) to your states flag type of deal.
Well, I am a Self taught web designer ( purty good if I say so myself ) and I have been using Photshop ( a program thats used to make all the visual things you see on the net ) for years, I am pretty good at making them. So every now and again I post new ( ones I make for the the Members here ) Siggy Bars ( signature bars ) for my brothers and sisters here on the nafc. I also make them for the members of my message forum, so they can use them to personalize there profiles and signatures.
So when i get time, the good folks who want a custom one, I create it for them and post them here so they can add the code ( text ) to the signature in there profile.
