I am thinking about transferring with my company from South Carolina to Post Falls, Idaho. Wow, What a change! Not knowing much about the fishing up there, I have a 19' bass boat. Do I take this with me or should I think about getting rid of it b/4 I move up there?

I would bring it with you.
It will need to be inspected for invasive species such as Zebra mussel's and you may have to get it cleaned but you will kick yourself if you leave it behind.
In the Post Falls area, you will have access to Largemouth, Smallmouth,Crappie, Yellow Perch, Northern Pike, Tiger Musky, Rainbows, Lakers, Browns, Cutthroat.
Should you decide to fish Washington State, just jump on I-90 and head west for about two hours to Moses lake and Potholes Res, these lakes are in the desert and hold many species, Smallmouth, Largemouth, Crappie, Trout, Perch and Walleye are the main draw. You can also hit the Columbia river about an hour west of Spokane off Hiway 2.

Yes as Brad said bring your boat. If your going to move to Post Falls you will only be about two hours from Lake Couer d' Alene which has some fantastic bass fishing. On the south end of the lake out of Harrison is some of the best bass fishing on the lake. Also up the Couer d' alene river is the chain lakes Anderson, Thomson, Blue, Black and Kalarny all these lakes hold good largemouth and huge pike. I have seen 10# largemouth come out of the south end of the lake. I have fished these lakes many times and my biggest largemouth came out of Black Lake an 8 1/2 pounder.
