Having trouble with my motors alarm going off was running good than the engine overheating alarm started going off  at 3500 rpms and up.I can shut down motor and start up in 5 minutes or so and it will go at slow to idle a long ways and will not go off.Water pump is working fine.

Now the engine alarm for overheating quit going off now it's the low oil alarm going off and acting just like the overheating alarm.

I added oil to gas and it still goes off.filled my onboard oil tank and marked a line on 12 gals. of fuel it moved just a little.So it appears pump may be working I have an appointment to bring boat to shop but it could be 2 weeks what a bummer.

i have a 93 merc 175hp fuelinjected,had the same problem light was flashing but it flashes for overheating took it in to shop and they replaced thermostats, and adjusted the oil injection and it went away now light is back after thermostat housing bolts came loose after they fixed it going back into shop for them to redo their work will let you know what they find

got boat back, from shop, the cap for oil tank on motor was sucking air,would not pump oil out of main tank into second tank, this is what  mechanic said
