I am looking for tips and advise for inshore fishing the coast. Went to Port A a few weeks ago and got hooked, again, on Saltwater. I am looking for rigging, baits, etc.

    Thanks in advance.

I usually use live shrimp rigged through the tail with weights added for bottom fishing. Works great for reds. I like to use Gulp Alive when shrimp are out of season or the bait stores are closed.

When I use to go to Coast. I'd use Live Shrimp, Carolina rigged! Worked everytime in Pot A! Some Member/Bros fr. here in San Anto have seen pics of ém, Yeppers! Until next time! Yall "Take Care", L8r. James, "VATO LOCO"

i have done well with gulp 3 or 4" new penny shrimp. live fresh bait is always good. get a cast net and practice it pays big.i fished south padre in july . jetty and pirates peir both good bets on weekday & nights.i use carolina rig also or a poppin cork. they sell them every where. the pirates peir has a good bait shop with fair prices. good luck.
anyone have any input on what i can expect to be bittin in early march? planning another trip down in early march and late may if i can.
