The day started out good, about an hour into the session The fishing started to pick up really nice. Herk, Jimmy, Tim and myself put on a great show for a young man named Christian. It seems today was this young mans birthday and he told herkel that he wanted to catch a fish for the first time and he wanted to do it on his birthday.
Well as always ( if You know herk ) he ablidged. Now I know I don't post much here but this story was kinda neat. Seems tonight was a good night for all of us. after about two hours the young man was into his first fish, a nice long common, then I broke onto the scene with a spot on 30# shovel head. then it was Christian's turn yest again! badda bing another nice common. then jimmy got into the act and landed a nice common which broke off at the mat and rolled back into the water. the Joey Landed a couple of nice commons ( course the droid sucks for pictures )
then it was back to young Christian again and then back to me with another 12# shovel head. man we traded like this all evening and then about 3 am we called it quits to head home. What a great time we had and you couldn't ask for a better group of folks to fish and be friends with. I hope to get all the pic's up with in the day, but My favorite picture of the evening was this one, Have a look at Christian's face, he told herk it was the biggest fish he'd ever seen LOL
