A cold front during spring or fall can deffinetley make a bite tough, but when it turns cloudy and gloomy during the summer, does that act as a relief to fish from the bright sun and therefore making them more active?
I swear, it was this big (---------------------------------------)

As for myself I prefer fishing on overcast days during the summer. Cold fronts can and does shut the bite down. right now in Western Washington we are having below average weather, it is in the mid 50's and low 60's and it is affecting the fishing on this side of the state. Last week it was in the high 70's and in tow days I caught 57 smallmouth. Went this Friday and a cold front moved in and I only got ten fish in four hours. So weather does infact impact how the fish react.
