Purchased Motorguide 40 Varimax Feburary 2010 . Registered warranty, had recall done in June ,toke 30 days plus at Bass Pro Shop in Aubrun NY. August 19 Knob fell off for ratchet on transom mount clamp. Was informed by customer service, there is no part to replace or fix . Need to purchase new transom clamp at acost of $50 plus shipping. Not under warranty 1 year from date of purchase. Needless to say my first and last Motorguide or Mercurcy Marine Product.
