I live in southcentral ohio and enjoy wading and kayaking the local creeks but although I have good luck and have figured out through trial and error what lures work and do not I am having trouble finding any material on local creeks and streams all of the info i can find is generalized for the whole of the state and does not always apply to my area if anyone can assist me with this dilemma it would be greatly appreciated

HI rwalker. welcome to the forum. here are a couple of links that may give you some info state by state. http://www.takemefishing.org/ and http://www.huntnfishregs.com Hopefully this will help. also scroll down to the state forums on this site and see if you can get some answers from members in ohio.

Welcome to the Forums from me too.

Part of the problem you are facing is that those creeks can easily be fished down pretty quickly...and so many of the folks that do fish them don't generally share much info about them. You could use Google Maps to search out new creeks and access points in your area. I always look for bridges accross them.

Here's an example of the Circleville area south of Columbus...

Here I zoomed in a little bit....

There's a map company calle DeLormes that sells a fairly decent atlas of each state...here's the one for Ohio.

I have these for both Minnesota and Wisconsin...and between these and Google Maps...I have found some neat spots.
