    Hello,
    Just joined the club and wanted to stop in and say hi. I am from the lower SW corner of state and live near a great Salmon and Steelhead river. We also have some nice inland lake fishing and I am close to the big pond but have not fished it yet. I moved here from Ohio about 6 yrs ago.

    welcome to the site ron........it sounds like you moved near the st. joe river or the paw paw river.



    man i just moved from that area to ohio. i use to live just north of kalamazoo and now live in ashtabula.

    I do live very near the St. Joe river and the Dowagiac river. Thanks for the welcome. I hit the St Joe this morning and got 4 cats and a sucker, was hoping for a walleye or two but I had fun. I am gonna see if wife and daughter want to take a boat ride down the river tonite, it's a beautiful river.

    ron it is a very beautiful river. lots of cats in it and when the runs are on it gets good # of fish. you could start getting some salmon very soon, along with eyes. the summer run steelies should be all but over with but there should be a few of them still around.
