    What sort of rod, reel, line, and hooks would you recommend for shark? I am going to hit some yard sales and pawn shops for the rod and reel.

    Any advise?

    That is a pretty broad question! Are you going to be fishing the surf or from a boat? What species are you targeting? Where are you planning on fishing? My saltwater days are long in the past but these questions come to my mind. How 'bout a bit more info? Tom
