Well Pete that stinks!!! I hate when plans fall apart. I went out serious Sat, morning Caught one small bass. Been out sporadically since then , you know , after work , during lunch break, nothing big. And nothing !! It's like they suddenly just vanished. The pond I regularly go to suddenly has nothing and this pond you could stand there and watch the bass swim around. I dont understand it! As far as this weekend that remains to be seen. Walt

Yeah, the recent & very sudden extreme drop in temp will do that. It was 37 degrees on the way to work this morn!!! They're there just a bit deeper. Hopefully the sun comes out this weekend and we'll see some nice action.

I hope so! I'm bouncing around the idea of bringing my father-in-law and my boys out for some action before it gets to cold. I'm still not sure though that could end up to be a disaster or turn out to be a good day of fishing you never know how its gonna go until you get out there. If so it will be on Sunday morn with shiners and nightcrawlers,I'll let you know how it goes. Wish me luck !!!! Walt

New York is good for fishing. It has just about everything. From the Atlantic ocean and bays to hudson,St. Lawrence river. The great lakes, lake Champlain and george. All the brooks and streams for trout. The fingerlakes and Chautaqua(sp) and many more.

Upstate NY offers alot of fishing opertunities. Long Island has surf fishing and deepsea charters. New York city has the hudson river running through it and it's a fishing charter to the Atlantic ocean away. NY is a big state and the tall buildings are in the city alot of the state is very rural. I live in a town with a population of about 1000.

Wow wellsley, sounds beautiful out there I bet those are excellent places to fish! MA has some nice fishing to. I like to find those little out-of-the-way secret spots, as I mostly fish by myself.
