I JUST WANTED TO SHARE SOMETHING THAT MADE ME LAUGH. I WAS SHOPPING AT BASS PRO WITH MY WIFE,STEPDAUGHTER AND GRANDAUGHTER OVER THE LABOR DAY HOLIDAY. MY GRANDAUGHTER IS ONLY 1 YEAR OLD.  I PICK UP A CHILDS ROD (SPONGE BOB). MY WIFE AND STEPDAUGHTER TOLD ME SHE WOULD NOT KNOW WHAT TO DO WITH IT. I HELD IT CLOSE TO ME. AND TO MY SURPRISE SHE GRABBED THE ROD WITH HER RIGHT HAND AND THE CRANKING MECHANISM WITH HER LEFT LIKE SHE WAS REELING IN A FISH. I TURNED TO MY WIFE AND STEPDAUGHTER AND SAID " YOU WERE SAYING". BOTH OF THEM STANDING THERE WITH THEIR MOUTHS WIDE OPEN. I SWEAR THIS IS A TRUE STORY

Yep my three year old has his own lightning mcqueen from cars combo. except he has almost worn it out playing with it in the yard. I have spent alot of time untangling his line from all sorts of items. But its all good. now he wants one of those rocket rods that supposedly shoots your line out but I have heard some poor reports on their performance.
Its always amazes me as to what small children already know and we cannot figure out where they picked it up. Great Story.

Cute story.  If I ever have a granddaughter or two I'd be happy to buy them fishing equipment.

    Hi Pillman,

I'm pretty well deep into motorcycling.  I still ride that big orange Honda and the old warhorse Harley still shares the garage with it.  I bought Allon a Yamaha 125cc dirt bike last year and picked up a Honda XR600R so I can keep up with him.  I converted an old trailer into a dirt bike hauler and we spend time riding the back trails together.  The kid's a natural born motorcyclist but he did seem surprised his fat old man can kick up dirt too.

We've done some fishing this year but not nearly enough.  We vowed to correct that next year and hopefully we'll be able to attend club meet.  Of course we'll be on bike.

Nice to hear from you and how in the heck are you getting along now?????
