    well i have a freind that lives in northern IOWA and they had caught a channel cat and they had noticed it had bubs all over its belly and i mean bumbs deep in the skin and bumbs forming off the skin like a disease.... it doesnt look normal ... ive never seen anything like this ...... does anyone have an answer???

    Seen a lot of them like those too. The ones I've seen came from the Minnesota River. It a really muddy river and lots of parasitic leeches are always attached to the catfish.
