Hi my name is Brandon I am a new life member hoping to get some information regarding lake trout, me and my wife are taking a trip this weekend, were heading to jefferson lake, in jefferson,CO. Its a glacial lake at 10,500ft elevation natural spring inlet, and a rather deep lake about 180ft give or take a few.water temp hardly gets above 50. I geuss i know quite a bit about the lake just not the fish and thats why im here i was hoping someone could give me an idea of where to start as far as jigging or trolling lures, i plan to use some cut sucker meat for jigging just dont know what type style size i need to be using to target the fish down between 45-120ft water. please any info would help. thank you and tight lines. Brandon

hi bcurry, sorry i couldn't help ya before ya went and i hope ya had a great time figuring out what to use and what would work,

i believe you have the right idea in using cut sucker on jigs. i hope you took assortment of spoons with ya to jig also. there are allot of different styles to choose from that work great as jigs and you can add cut bait to them
