I've once bought some Ugly Duckling lures.  Back then, these balsa lures were about 1/2 the price of the Rapala.  Thought they were a great deal.  Never so much as caught a fish on them.  About the biggest waste of time, lugging them around and around.

What are some never buy again lures?

One lure I'm going to have trouble looking at again is the BPS Flashy Times spoon. I had that thing one day and the paint started chipping, the hook straightened out (which I guess is more of a general Bass pro Shops thing), and it didn't run true. Seriously tested my faith in Bass Pro Shops (Ok, not quite that bad, but you get the idea)

Strike King jigs is my least favorite. I bought 4 of them last year and after one use the hook rusted and that turned me off on them. So now if a jig dosen't have Gamakatsu hooks it's a no go.
