Hello all, went up to melones res. last night was fishing for crappies,also bass. did o.k. on crappie...landed four really nice bass 3 around 2 1/2 to 3 lbs the 4th was right at 5 1/4 pounds.Had a great time ,cought the big one on a top water frog and when it hit it was a awsome thrill to see that fish come up under the frog and take it...Can't wait to go back up there and land some more. (Released all bass unharmed) Good luck to ya all John
