Hey my name is Nick I just moved to Santa Barbara for work and I was wandering if there was anybody who lives around here that knows of any good fresh water fisheries that wont get you cuffed?  So far the only places i've found was a few ponds in golf courses and needless to say I was not welcome hence the cuffs.  I know about Lake Cuchuma and Lake Casitas, but Im looking for a place that I can go to after work and not have to travel an hour just to do some weekday fishing.  So if anybody knows anything please post up.

you can try los cornaros lake in goleta, i think there is some fish in there, ive seen people fishing but never seen anything caught, i will drive to lake lopez to fish. ill even do some ocean fishing, surf, pier if i want to stay close to home, santa barbara does not have to many place to fresh water fish
