On Sunday 9/19/10 the Root River between Preston and Lanesboro Minnesota was in perfect condition for a great session of wade-fishing. I was fishing with a good friend Dave. It was a very productive 3 hour afternoon outing of C/R. 38 browns caught and released between 2 rods. We were using Black pearl silver and Copper/Silver Super Bows, barbless and single hook. The water was a little high, golden and perfect.

Due to two days of heavy rains and flooding, we probably won’t see this type of action again on the Root until around next Tuesday.
