Hi I'm headed down to Lakeport on Monday and was wondering how the fishing on Clear Lake has been lately.

HI basbandit, not sure how the fishing is up there...Is that a fishing turn.that you are fishing in on the 9 and 10th of this month??? I have never fished up there but heard they have some really nice fish up there and alot of guys use swim baits...

yes it is the Triton Owners Tournament I fished it last year didn't have any luck with swim baits but no one else did either. I did good on dropshotting and brush hogs. finished 44th out of 98. fun tourny.

not to bad, do they let guys bring there own boats and follow you guys and watch (from a dist ) me and my brother in-law were thinking about going up there to watch the turnament i live about 4hrs away from there.Well i wish you good luck and maybe i'll look you up if we do make it up there THANKS JOHN

I'm sure you can watch the tourny from your boat. That would be cool if you could come. This year we have 105 teams fishing. Gonna be a lot of Tritons running around the lake. If you do come up I drive a red Tr20 X with an Evenrud Etec 225 HO with Northwest Bass on the cowling it also has Amsoil stickers on the windshields can't miss it. Will be the only one with Amsoilon the boat. I'd like to meet you. Don't get to meet to may members up here in Washington.
