MG,
Good to hear from you.  "Steelhead Green" is the best color imaginable for us die hard Steelhead chasers.  It only gets that color in winter when the river level is just right.  It always gives me a warm fuzzy when I see it.

That Steelhead Green was just the most beautiful thing to see in person. Between that and the clarity, it just makes you want to jump in......lol.......but the cold snaps you back to reality.......lol

Terrific pictures, it's cold and snowy here, I'm going to need to live through these pictures vicariously for a while.

Another nice Steelhead joined the TIE for a photo shoot.  Almost lost the TIE, the fish, and the rod, when she got tired of posing and made for deep water.  Re-landed her, pulled the jig and off she went on her journey upriver.

Her next obsticle will be the big shoot in this picture.  The river narrows from 100' down to about 20' and through a deep channel in the beadrock.  There is a large rock in the middle which you can just see the top of that will catch rafts between it and the big rock on the left when the water gets lower.

I won't get too many more days on the water before it's time for the TIE to journey to the next recipient.  Anyone know who that is?

Prober came down to fish Friday with me.  Although I didn't get him into a fish, after working hard all day I managed to get into this lazy guy.  It was definately not our typical fish with line stripping runs and airial displays.  I did get him into the spirit of the TIE and will dropping by the PO tomorrow to send the TIE northward to Port Orchard, WA.  We will need a destination after Prober, so if you want it, let us know and we'll get the info required to move it on.

Here is Prober givining it his all to get into one of our big dogs.

And at the end of the day, getting into the spirit.

On the day we saw deer, elk, and this little guy hanging out next to the road on the way out to the highway.

The MOJO of the TIE continues.

Yeah,
He was sitting in the tree, we drove by him, backed up and he sat there for a couple photos and off he went.  I usually can't get very good shots with my little fish camera, but he was only about 10 feet off the road and only about 15 feet up the tree.  They will usually fly off when you approach their vicinity.

Thanks Dave. So the question still remains the same. Who is to receive the tie next? I have it sitting in the same usps container that Matt sent it to me in.
