    I bought a reel from my local K-mart and it was a good deal but the reel has this switch which let the bail open as you pull the string back does anyone else have a reel with this ?????

     BTW it a open face reel

    Confusing forum organization....Wish they would just compartmentalize and group all the fish species and all the hardware stuff so everyone can at least find things more intuitive.

    Anyway I have not seen a Shakespeare Alpha with a trigger bail system.  I have seen Quantums and Shimanos with those quick trigger bail system.
